thinking of getting a van mounted system, I'm useless at diy I know that shop bought system are more expensive but would prefer it professionally fitted. I have a lwb hightop transit connect believe the payload is 900kg what I'm looking for is a system 500 litres that as an RO plus DI vessel, auto shutdown when filled and two man use Also external ports for filling and pumping.

What do you guys have and how do you rate your set ups any advice would be appreicated.

Thanks.

I'd say Xline systems as there good and thats what I have, however there aftersales and follow ups are terrible.

500litre put the van overweight if full as all the spare stuff like ro di tank tank frame u and a passanger fairly add up in weight go for 400

the xline systems look the bizz also the

All these look the business but at the end of the day you end up paying for loads of bells whistles and pretty colors you dont need amd some will even pay for a name.

You need.

Purification: RO or DI or both dependant on you waters TDS/PPM content. Filtration is the single most important part of the set up as you want the purest water for cleaning possible.

(If you dont yet know your tap waters PPM buy a TDS meter first so you dont waste money on a set up that does not fit your requirements)

Storage: Water tank in van for your pure water. Van payload will determine size of tank you can fit.

Delivery: Pump and controller / 100 meters hose (mini or microbore) WFP (pole and brush) An analogue controller will serve just as well as a digital one and whilst shurflo pumps are the standard others out there will suffice. As for the brush at least 25ft and the best you can afford (carbon if you can stretch to it)

Power: leisure battery at least 110mah to run the system for the day. SCR (Split charge relay) to keep it topped up otherwise you will need to put it on charge each night.

If you can wire a plug and plumb a hoselock garden hose then you can install your own system.

However before you collect all the above items the most important thing you need are customers.

Good luck and welcome.

I have a facelift compact system with power reel in my transit connect and would recommend it.

its nice to have good looking kit tho the ionic zero look the bizz way over priced but looks mint way out of my bujet tho and ive hurd ionic are very unrelible

Cheers tench nice one.

Does anyone have a facelift compact how do you charge the battery and if I get a Ibc tank for my existing static ro how's the best/fastest way to transfer water to the van.

Sorry for all the questions people.

Green pro only recently started a couple of weeks ago leaflet dropped for 4 hours x 2 got 20 customers and today I leaflet dropped for 30 minutes only due to constant deluges and picked up another 2 customers which will be cleaned next week unfortunately due to family commitments I can't get out again until next week so far I'm enjoying the challenge and work I'm under no illusion that I'm in need of new customers but with patience and hard work I think I will get there eventually all input is more than welcome and extrmely appreciated like my old mum used to say 'Roman wasn't built in a day son' God bless her soul.

Understand the diy option is very cost effective but I'm useless with tools I'm the only person I know that could chop my own hand with a screw driver lol.

I only have the slx22 pole at the moment but being over six foot have been able to reach three story town house so far and a extension is on the card for that as the market I'm targeting probably won't need any more than that to be honest.

My RO system is 450gpd with 10" plus 11.7 di vessel tap water is between 265 and 270 leaves the RO at 14.

Thank.

You mentioned a two man system but want a 500L tank. Hope you can refill during the day!
Yes thought it would be easy on the odd day my son works with me but in hindsight he could use the trolley on rear of properties.

Have a static system also but need a bigger Ibc tank.

I have it bolted to the floor mate. I disconnect the battery every two or three days and charge it in my house. Hose reel goes out the back door.

Cheers Adams just another mate what made you go for the 325 instead of the 425.

Thanks.

As well as the 325 litre tank I also have six 25 litre drums on the van as well as my backpack. That's 500 litres of water when everything's filled up. Where I work I need to use my backpack multiple times a day (alley ways, no parking, etc) so I need to be able to fill it easily which is why I have the drums. I work within a four or five mile radius of where I buy my pure water so filling up when the tank is running low is never an issue.
