I'm in shock. Congratulations and comisorations to all those who bothered to vote, it's a historic day for all no matter which side you chose. Now let's see if that ***** does the honorable thing, by respecting the vote, and then stepping down.

 
Phew! Hopefully farage will be quiet now. Gonna be a bumpy ride. Stirling already a 30 year low against the dollar. Well done those that voted, it's good to be part of a democracy.

 
It wasn't long ago businesses were complaining about the high pound as it made exports to expensive.

Ah well, Scotland Votes to stay so here goes yet another referendum for here so we can get back in! To be honest I voted stay, don't think leaving after reading so much over the past couple of months was the best thing to do. Pound crashes over night, we have 2 years to jog on and have to try and negotiate a trade deal which Cameron made a mess of the last time he tried. Mortgage rates will start to rise with the BOE buying into the pound to slow inflation.

I may be wrong and have to go with it as that's the decision made but it's going to be a very bumpy and uncertain ride over the next few years!

I can also see Scotland with the perfect excuse to leave the UK and they will get the votes now due to this, where does that leave the rest of the U.K as a result? Alex Salmond has been quick to say that they will be pushing for another referendum as soon as possible.

 
Scotland is really not much more that the petulant little brother. Pay us back the monies you owe and go. Simple.

Oh wait the minute Scotsman hear they will have to pay a debt it's another story.

Here's a thought. Let's have a vote in England to see if want to keep CARRYING Scotland.

It was pretty much exactly the numbers I imagined, but I thought it would be in favour of stay.

I just saw the Cameron speech, and now have more respect for him than I have ever had.

We all knew the pound would drop for a bit as everyone panics

It's already rising and it's nothing to worry about

And yes it is good to be part of a democracy in this great country which we can now run how we see fit and not have europe hinder us anymore

 
If the vote had only been in England it would of been a total landslide.

Scotland and Northern Ireland voted almost 100% to stay as did Gibraltar, Wales mostly voted to leave and England did overwhelmingly.

 
Oh and by the way its been confirmed that World war 3 has been declared and a meteor has been spotted on a direct course to hit London.
