The highlight for me.... outside of witnessing Britain actually doing something great for itself for a change was a young lady asked for her opinion on the radio news.

She was of camp remain. She voted to stay. When she heard the news she said we had 'caused her to lose all faith in humanity'

Sorrt luv. Get a f*****g life you drama queen! :rolleyes:

I heard a few like that too. I also noticed that every brexiter was an illiterate ****. Even when we win the media is set on misrepresenting the majority of the voters.

Indeed, why didn't they interview me? /emoticons/sad.png

One brexiter said if there were “one thing” she could do it would be to “go back to the polling station and vote to stay”.

Huh!

Why vote to leave & then say you're unhappy with the decision!

That's plain moronic! IMHO

Yeah I saw that as well, that is some serious stupid right there

The media in this country is not worth a w##k

They report what the government wants them to

No wonder they are biased against us brexit voters as they are the government's puppets..especially the beeb

Why do you think not many white people being stabbed etc makes the news but in the case of being the other wag round with Steven Laurence it suited the government's agenda at the time so we still hear about it how many years on??

Never trust anything the media says

Not sure why my post got optimistic, I could debate Cameron no problem, and you know why? because I would be right.

@Spartan

Nice vid, but even mainstream movies are altering perceptions. How many dystopian movies have been released over the past 20 years? How many portraying aliens as big bad nasty destroyers?

Now they have a new INdependence day movie coming out and again its programming people through something called pre emptive programming to believe whatever they want us to, in this case, that any contact from other beings outside of earth will be hostile. Imagine how humans would react if benevolent ETs tried to help us - humans would start a war and thats because of the programming. Thats why I dont watch many movies as most are appealling to violence, war and dystopian futures - how lovely.

With dystopian movies the idea is to make humanity accept that basically our future as a species is bleak and that moving into a dystopian, machine controlled world scenario is normal. See movies like the Hunger Games, Elysium, Transcendance, I robot, AI and many many more that are all coming out one by one. And to me it seems its working, i mean you ask people what they think the world will be like in 50 years time and they say 'It'll be fcuked mate'.

Dont fall for it - its not entertainment, its a scam

s people are adding images, I thought I'd add one that illustrates how the political system works.

For republicans and democrats, just think labour and conservative or in fact any parties sytem the world over.

Hey, if you can't beat them, join them.

I personally think 'dystopian' predictions of the future simply make better stories. There was a production of brave new world on radio 4 a couple of weeks ago, well worth a listen.

@Solarpanelcleanington

I didn't hear that on radio 4 although I have read the book. That and of course the classic 1984.

Granted, sometimes the movies have a good story and plot ect, but thats not the point. Why so many portraying a bleak scenario for humanity?

What you believe you percieve, so if everyone accepts this then we'll eventually manifest it. Thats just the way it works

I disagree. You could argue that civilaztion has improved over the centuries, better healthcare, longer lifespan etc for most of the world. Despite our grim predictions of the future.

You could agrue that yes, and you'd be right about advances in those things. But look at human history and the brutal violence that is in all chapters of it. We're advancing? In that respect, no we are not.

But what I am saying is that people's perceptions about what we are told to believe by officaldom is changing.

Think of it like this: if you were born in a mad house and you only ever lived in the mad house with other mad people, then to you anybody outside of the mad house, in the normal world, would seem MAD to you.

Thats the situation we are in - in my opinion

1984 is an excellent film though

Orwell had a very good perception of life in the future

Yes it is not 100% correct but it shows a possibility of how things could turn out
