A website can be very lucrative but you need to be page one for your area. This all comes down to SEO and stuff that more techy lads know about.

IMO paid advertising for cost per click etc is a waste. I pay our @Gav £10 per month and he's gotten me well sorted out.

I have gone from pre Gav at 1 lead every 3 months to post Gav 5 to six leads per week.

Leeds is a bit too Generic (unless you cover the whole of leeds)

I am Nottingham but target, Radcliffe, Bingham, West Bridgford (a lot more local to me than having to cover all Nottingham)

I was talking literally web page enquiries. I am lax at asking callers where they found me, guess I should though so I know where my efforts are best served.

If I put in window cleaning Halton page 1 if I put in window cleaner Leeds page 2 but not many hits if any ? Same if I put in window cleaning Shadwell page 2 and Leeds city centre page two top ?

That's impressive. From memory I had perhaps half a dozen web page enquiries maybee the same in emails perhaps a dozen phone calls (only mobile, i dont have an office) and perhaps 30 Facebook enquiries.

Don't think I would want to be dealing with as many as you Damo. Too much stress for me but if you can fit all that in the fair play.

You have to remember Halton it's taken me 4 years to get there and @Damo and his dad have been at it much longer.

I'm going to start a little note book of where the enquiries come in from as this has peaked my curiosity.

iPhone 6 Plus usually flat by 3pm if I don't charge it.

Today first message at 6.04am. Last email was 7pm today.

Usually wake up to at least 2/3 emails.

I spent 6 months sorting my www and its being redone now. Dodger helps with design and i do content. It's just a case of finding holes in your competitions SEO and www really.
