I have mate doin my own windows [emoji16][emoji16] didnt feel comfy cause i forgot to get articulated feet stuck on them so was a bit wary about it hey ho live n learn gonna go c the guy over the road at the curry house caught his son washin the insides with a bloody mop yuch!!!!

agree dont get articulated feet but do get spikes before the winter . more u go up the ladder the more savvy and better youll get at it jlow. he who dares wins .

each to their own but i personally like ladderwork a lot. every lad whose worked for me has enjoyed it too once over the initial learning hump

its also good for u physically my tip to you is do as much trad as you can now uv started,get over the learning hump and make the new ladders pay you back cos theyre truly worth weight in gold

iv no time for anyone who disses ladderwork

Dont get me wrong first couple o times up them totally kakin meself but like anything i will get used to what i can n cant do and what are spikes may i ask???

spikes are metal spikes that bolt on for permanent use and catch on the ground surface . old timers swear by them,

i kacked myself for the 1st THREE MONTHS on the lAdders can u bleve that jason ? i had ladder fear as bad as you can get but then one day i was suddenly over it. iv currently got 3 fulltimers work for me plus theres me, all on ladders ,i can recommend especially if you do the ordinary homes you can be done n dusted quickly and then theres the insides

ill climb with no feet u get used to ladders ill climb on ice snow wet decking at the rite angle u just need to test the bounderys of the ladder and trust it ive bin a wc for 14 years im now 90 percent wfp but still use the ladders and dont flinch the ladders are safe if ur confadent on them but if ur not then they are dangerus !!!

sometimes ladder spikes are on sale on ebay thats where i got my sets [in this foto] . also some of the ladder firms sell them as an accessory. you could also quite easily make ur own from short stripsView attachment 8291 of steel ,another alternative

that curry house,even if they say no to your offer to clean the windows, ask can u leave a few cards on their counter. i got a loada work from cards on the counter in a chinkee -also more work from a card on a wall in a chippy. sooner you ask the better them
