Excelerator UK/US 'Collab'

WCF

Even this one Eric, I'm just a bit hesitant sometimes when they say fits all Oates/Moerman handles in case they don't take liquidator into consideration. I also want to use it for the excelerator. Moerman Telescopic Handle 3 Section 2.1m

BTW Eric, there is now a stockists in Perth that sells the Liquidator, only took them around 10 months to catch on [emoji57].

Hmm. Couldn't be positive on that. That's from the 'household' range so unsure whether tip is same dimensions. Remember when the Excelerator is released there is also a pole tip and an angle adaptor going to be available as well. So if you bought and did find the tip unsuitable just replace the tip not the pole...to me though, apart from colour they look the same.

Hi Eric

Do you know if the Excelerator fits on this angle adaptor

Gardiner Erkenomic Pole Tip for Trad Tools

Is the excelerator going to be sold with a pole or one they recommend to be used with it.

I doubt they'll sell it with a pole but they have got the tip or angle adaptor which will fit most standard aluminium poles including their own.

If I was to get a longer version of that 1st pole (1.8m) i mentioned then would i be able to get a pole tip/cone end angle arm to fit the end so i could also use it on an Ettore or wagtail handle.

Check pic Keefo. Both the Gardiner Erk and the Moerman fit all handles I own. Admittedly with those apart from Moerman the lock positions are different so it's a case of simply jamming them on.
Cheers. I was thinking the Moerman pole/Gardiner erk adaptor as on Window cleaning world then either the liquidator handle or ettore handle for now. I presume they'd all fit on each other. What pole is that on that top right photo in which the Moerman adaptor is fitting onto. Bit difficult for us that haven't seen the excelerator yet but from your experience after having used it, do you prefer the excelerator used on pole work or the wagtail.

The Moerman Adaptor is in a 3foot length of plastic pressure pipe (DIY). Really light and excellent for the glass that you'd normally have to stretch for. For pole work I really do prefer the Excelerator. In hand I prefer using it without pad as the F*liq is heavyish when wet and would get tiring on long runs of glass. If you are used to Wagtails (especially if you've been using the Liquidator channel in them) you'll notice immediately that on a pole it's quicker, smoother and because of pivot position very accurate. In hand the handle itself is really comfortable and all advantages that it has on a pole is transferred. I'm not 'dissing' Wagtail at all but this tool has several refinements which Wag users have been asking for for a long time: Locking handle, 3 position angle change (10,15,40), comfortable bi-component handle, ability to change channels very quickly. When I first got the prototype I was slightly skeptical of the permanent non adjustable pin of the pivot and felt sure that it would develop 'slop' but fears have not been realised. The pivot is as stable as the first time I used it and I've used it almost daily for over a month now. So it appears that the only negative that it has is that 'modding' will not be required... :) Phew, what am I going to do with all my spare time :)
