hi

i did a first clean on a barn conversion around a month ago its coming back round that i'm going again new wood grain effect upvc window frames with some protective sticekrs left on frames manufacturers i told them next time i'm around i will bring product to remove.... any product suggestions tried and tested? thanks Jake

They usually peel straight offDO NOT slice off with blade !

Take solvent cleaner mate
they have been left on sometime and are now stuck on i wondered did anyone have a solvent cleaner to recommend i am concerned about damaging frames

Don't use solvent on brown pvc it's only white foiled covered plastics

Ever build do a special water based one just for brown frames

I have some left can post

Solvent removes a layer off plastic and can fade and actually damage brown wood grain effect Windows

It's only very thin layer off brown over white plastic

Crazy I know

I use Titan oil Flo I very much doubt it would remove any layer off the plastic but best be on safe side jake

If its on the glass, then I use Everbuild PVC cleaning solvent. Breaks down glue easily and washes off the glass cleanly. I also use a scraper blade to remove stickers on glass in conjunction with the solvent.

Sorry, I didn't read your post right.

As for the frame protective film that has started to stick. .. I've never had much success with that. So I'll be interested if anyone has had a genuine method for removing it after it 'glues' itself to the frame.

Yes I have.Use microfiber to apply onto the glue residue.

Lightly rub with micro fibre cloth.

Rinse off clean water or normal cleaning solution.
Thanks they won't deliver so looks like I will pick up in store now ready for weekend. Thanks
