Being a professional means you do the ones Joe bloggs cant do him self, thats the whole sum of being the pro, i clean house i get to as long as its safe and i am being payed for the time taken. only looking for easy jobs you will be competing with every cleaner that like the simple jobs, going a little out the way can make it easy getting custys and earn a good living, just saying.
The sole definition of professional is someone that gets paid.

One aspect of it, the way you go about custoners, the service you provide, the attitude towards the job plus the advice and being honest about what the customer really is in need of rather than sell them the product that earn you the most is all of these thing togheter that makes you a professional apart from the cowboy.

I'm with Adam on this. Even though I regularly sell work off, I take other work on. The idea being, the new stuff is all a pleasure to do. I'm working smarter now, so I'm not working as hard but earning more than ever.

If the ladder does come off the van (rare), I will trad the window on the flat roof to save taking the pole up, but that's it.

Can say with total honesty, that of the 22 years I've been in this job, this is the happiest I've been at work /emoticons/smile.png

Do you employ anyone Steve ?

I'm finding I have a lot more energy when I do bring out the squeegee. A week of trad takes its toll and knackers you out, but wfping is so easy that you feel fresh when you need it.

Got my mates son working fir me but he's leaving soon to do an electricians course.

I had my mate Danny working for me for years, but I sold him the round he did for me.

My financial situation has changed (mortgage paid etc) so I want to work on my own so I can finish when I want and have days off without letting a worker down.

Hi budBeen a while
Hello mate, sorry, sir moderator./emoticons/biggrin.png
