Hahaha

I don't collect anymore but when i was young i had all the graphic novels i could get like wolverine etc..used to trawl places like forbidden planet to get stuff

Had the original 1st 12 west coast avengers but they weren't that old

Wolverine was my favourite and i had the 4 hulk issues which had his first appearances in

Sold all my collection over the years and wish i hadn't now

And why the hell not. I don't collect anything well I suppose you could say mobile phones! That's my pleasure. Never get to the end of a contract with a phone always end up selling mine for the next best thing. Though today I dropped my phone and smashed the screen!/emoticons/sad.png

OK so one of my guilty pleasures is the world of Sci-fi, as many know I'm a huge movie fan but even worse I am also an avid collector of action figures.
Hit the NEC toyshow today and socred me another NECA Batman 1/4 Scale for the collection. Sad? Yeah.... but so what? /emoticons/smile.png)

I started collecting gaming consoles and games this year from Ataris, nintendos to play stations

I have my original snes still lol

I wouldn't say collect but i buy old analogue studio equipment and sell it on for a good profit

I still can't bring myself to part with my roland tb303 or my 808 drum synth to time it with

But i go to a lot of boot sales etc and know what i am looking for as i have always been into the music scene since these items were new

I have seen a 303 for sale for 200 quid and missed out on it and then seen them go on ebay for £1800

My mate found a nice old analogue synth for 20 notes at a boot sale and sold it on for £700

You selling the snes?

I hadn't thought about it

How much would you pay for it?

Boxed still with control and mario lost levels package

I've kept it this long as i still play street fighter once every 6 months or so when i think to get it out the loft

My main geekiness comes from tolkien

I don't consider myself a collector but i do like to read so I have pretty much anything he has written or his son Christopher finished

I used to play an online strategy game and i named all villages etc by where they were on the map compared to a map of middle earth without looking at a map

Just from my head as I am that sad:rofl:

that's class mate, i read the hobbit when i was about 10 & l.o.r about 12 & it blew me away, i still read them all now, tried the silmarillion but never finished it keep meaning to try again though

Try the lay of beleriand

It's all written in lay which is like poetry almost

Very hard to read

The silmarillion is a great book

I collect and build RepRap 3D printers. I've gone through 4 generations so far, with one printer printing parts for the next one and so on. At the moment one printer is working, one is mostly ready to print but needs some calibration, and another double sized beast is in the works.

I kind of excuse the cost because I sell a few bits and bobs every now and then (sold 5 printed signs at 11£ last week!). Hoping it can become a second income at some stage, but to be honest; for now its only something I spend some spare time and money on. I don't want to think about how much I've spent on this in total though, good thing its super fun and satisfying!

A large CNC is also on my wishlist, but I don't have the space for that unfortunately. :-/

I used to collect rare records.

7inch 78s & LPs.

Got quite a few rare ones in loft.

My other passion was football annuals.

Love the Big Bang theory.

That's as close as I get to being a geek lol
