Help Support WCF:

I met a windie yesterday while working who i hadn't seen for years

He asked what squeegee i had in my hand as it looks weird

Let him have a go and he got it instantly

He's now ordering them for himself

Try also just keeping your rubbers square instead of the 45° & 90° cuts. It has worked better for me since Eric mentioned this last year sometime. It maybe better or may not.

I would think that would stop it getting in the corners properly but I've never tried it

View attachment 8594 I don't actually cut them square Keefo.. Just slice them on an angle because I'm too lazy to do the 45 plus square off. I have found though that everything but the Razer Red wears too quickly especially on older frames so I've gone back too 'official' on all black rubber.

What back to the original liquidator cut 45° & 90°? The end tip whichever way you have it will still wear.

I just think the straight edge doesn't flex so much.

Daveyboy :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Still getting odd juder at the top edge so having to detail top edge

had to alter techneque straight across from left to right then straight down right edge to bottom then back up to left side top edge then back down left edge to bottom then do middle bit if that makes sense but so far so good:kiss:

That judder could be to do with the rubber being too dry

If you watch how i do it or polzn bladz you will see that i usually start in the top area of the glass but not on the edge to get the blade slippy

On big panes i sometimes do it like i would fan a high window on a pole and start in the middle top and do 1 side then the other then the middle

Yes I use the combinator not very often I use a squeegee but when I do combinator every time I done the Paul Pickering mod, but without cutting the sleeve, I also done mod the Daveyboy posted on the liquidator channel On my 14" combinator but not The 10" combinator I used cable tie instead of wire in this hot weather a combinator works a treat tbh it's the only squeegee I can get almost zero detailing with.

First time I have watched that video but that's exactly how I use my squeegee thankfully I use wfp so don't need to use squeegee/pole combination as I don't have a wagtail or excelartor but I might order excelator to learn to have the knowledge/expertise wouldn't go a miss.

Always good to cover all bases Den

Apart from having a backup if wfp broke also it is sometimes quicker and easier to do 1 or 2 awkward windows with pole and excelerator / wagtail rather than get the wfp out and drag the hose round etc

Especially for someone like me who does trad and wfp as i would have the gear in the motor anyway

Yip I agree, to be forearmed and all that will have to get myself a excelerator and put a bit of practice in, after all glad I have the combinators.

Ew no

No ninja channels allowed

Awful product

That is an old vid i use the moerman 1 now and they are designed so you don't get the line in the rubber where the rubber rests on the plastic
