Careful lifting those drums

I have a small trolley that I use occasionally to clean backs of houses

Today I lifted a 25 l drum out the van and hurt my back!

I've been at this job on and off for 16 years,so have lifted them countless times but today it left me bent over in the road behind my van unable to put my gear away or even stand up straight.

I couldn't put weight on my heels so ended it tiptoeing round trying to get in my van.

Be careful lifting 25 kgs of water don't sound heavy but they can ruin your day

It's a good part of why I have a tank and not drums, lifting 25kg weights all day is not my idea of fun.

I have a tank as well but for the odd job round the back sometimes it's easier than dragging hoses.

Looks like I'll be off for a few days

Never had pain like it.

Already bored out of my mind !

I've done that once or twice. Remember to keep the back straight, or it can go on even 10kg if you lift it in a awkward way
