Hi guys anyone ever had their leaflets delivered in the local free papers? Ours has an offer on at the moment and I'm wondering if I should give it a go?

Its £22.00 here for 1,000 leaflets... i thought why do this when i can do this myself ? /emoticons/tongue.png lol

I was presuming that people would hold the same view as me. It's just that this week I am gridlocked with work, one off's and stuff. Then it's back to a couple of jobs a day the week after. I was hoping of finding a way I could get thousands of leaflets out quickly so that I could get more regular work in while I'm busy. I've spoken to a couple of leaflet deliver companies, one seems ok but the other seems really cheap. I've been quoted £40 a thousand by one lot which I'm presuming is not solus and the other is £55 solus. Now I don't know if I'm just rubbish but it would take me 8 around hours to deliver 1000 and I wouldn't be happy with £55 for 8 hours work.

try putting a ad on gumtree around £40 a 1000,you can set up a free real time gps that is linked to a mobile phone its really easy to set up just put the phone number in,this way you can track where your leaflets have gone and how long it took them to post,just make sure you pick the right person,i prefer to use foreign studants asian i prefer as they do not get funding for uni and often do a really good job as they need the money to survivre and want repeat work

The thing is I've got a really busy week with one off's and stuff this week so I have some spare cash which I was thinking about spending on getting leaflets delivered so hopefully I can then keep myself busy. At the moment I couldn't afford to pay someone full time but hopefully I've got enough on to get things snowballing. I've tried to get people canvassing with me but nobody seems to want to do that, they always let me down last minute
