GutterVac finally died!

So today my Omnipole GutterVac finally died. I only have the one motor working now and so I'm looking to replace the whole thing after seeing the prices that Omnipole want to repair or replace the whole top section.

Seeing as I'm left with the suction hose and grippatank carbon poles i searched the internet for a cheaper alternative and came up with this The NEW Aquafed 3000 Watt 20ft Complete Gutter Cleaning machine

Does anybody here have experience with this machine? I could also do with some advice for making the suction hole larger as it looks a little small compared to the GutterVac version.

If you've got the poles and hose then all you really need is the vac. We actually sell 3000 and 3500 watt vacs configured for gutter cleaning without all the poles. Omni put that large inlet on to prevent blockages at the drum, however we do it a different way which prevents blockages without the need for that large inlet.

I bought the aquafed one you mentioned.

Have used it on about 10 jobs & is very good.

Great suction & don't get clogged up much

Poles are pretty light & easy to put together

A very good vacuum for the money.

Thanks guys. I definitely can't see why i spent around £1400 on a Omnipole GutteVac three years ago. I just wonder how the build quality is compared to the two you both recommend and Omnipoles?
