did you read the follow up artical on it? it got thrown out of caught and it was rule that it was his fault for not taking the right action of checking and risk assesments!

this is why doing risk assesments and method statements are always a good practice in every job you do and making sure that they are writen down so you can prove it all in court other wise, like this poor chap you get nothing!!!!!

love using pole when window cleanin, but dont like using a pole while fishing! give me a rod and reel any day! lol

there are a lot of houses that have them on the outside, not so many new build houses. there is a lot here that have 1mm, 2.5mm, 6mm 10mm and junction boxes with cable in, plus outside sockets. also security lights are outside, so there is still plenty of chance to get shocked!!

Everyone wants to stay safe. No one has an accident on purpose. There are accidents waiting in every walk of life I'm afraid.

like i keep saying ladders are not dangerous! its the person using them, the lack of training and not using any of the safty gear that makes them dangerous. i've been working on ladders for nearly 15 years now (not window cleaning) and never had a problem!
