If you like them try the extreme cold weather boots, they're amazing

I used to wear them all the time in winter

I wear riggers now as they are so easy to get on and off and warm

I always use these and a bonus was told.....wen homeless i used to use this..plastic carrier bag on feet after socks..still use this today

Bates desert boots or Lowa boots. Both are high spec with good support.

Like most things it's a personal thing, find a brand that fits well with your foot & stick with it. I've tried others but always revert to my trusted brands.

Bought some boots last year that were called Frostbite, fur lined. They are fur lined and comfortable

They were on offer, buy one get one free, so I ordered them.

When I got home, the delivery driver had plonked them near a plant pot on my drive in full display. He had put a Sorry I missed you' card through the door explaining where he left them.

I phoned the company and explained I had got the note, but as he had left the package on display, they must of been nicked.

The company were very apologetic, and immediately sent me out two more pairs. Jubs /emoticons/smile.png.

When I was in the army I wore lowas, altberg and issue boots. In the winter I preferred lowas or the issue cold weather boots. Kept my feet toasty in a foot of snow, still use them now when its cold, desert boots are good in the summer, although I do prefer walking boots now
