Flow Controller

Hi All,

Quick tip. Ive had a digital flow controller now for a few weeks and it has been flashing Bat so I replaced my battery at £70. New battery did the same si this evening I recalibarated it and now it works perfect. So now I'm using 16% less water and my battery is reading a much higher charge. So if you haven't done so already give your flow controller a quick calibiration.

and this is one reason i never use any of the didital flow controllers!!

i use a dial flow controller, it cost me £8.99 and dose never need any calibration or any external battery!!!! just wire the lesure battery to it then onto the pump! simple and no problems!

To be honest I don't really mind which controller I use. The good thing about the digital ones is that it tells you if there's a problem on the system and the charge level of the battery. It also starts cutting out intermediately to let you know your battery is getting low so it doesn't damage the battery. These things come in handy when they happen but I don't mind either controllers

Nanan Flow is strong, sorry, but when I've visited her at the care home it took two people to control her and seen as I work on my own I can't give advice where to start.

Sorry.

i built my own system and can always tell when something is not running right with it, tone of pumps, water flow and feel of it is the best way to tell if there is a problem.

I have a split charger on my lesure battery and a solar panel always charging it so it will never die, been running 2x100psi pump on it for the past year and never had to take it out to charge.

Ok, I know this advice isn't for everyone. Until a few months ago I worked for a large window cleaning company that owned, amongst other things 3 systems from different manufacturers and until I started there with the knowledge I have of the systems. Every time something went wrong with their systems they used to have to pay £40 an hour plus vat to have some polish guy tamper with them. If this thread saves one person who is just starting out having to pay that then I'd say my post has done its job.

yer your right, thats what this is all about, helping each other and trying to save any costly bills. its nice to see people posting problems that they solved before anyone has asked for help!
