Hi what size a frame ladder would I need for every day domestic use of thanks

All you need is a 7m triple, take the top section off for windows and use as a double then the top section for fsg any longer then that and you'll kill yourself with the extra weight lyte ladders are good, I use a b&q abru 6.92m triple cost me 96 quid and reaches everything.

Also the ELT ladders from browns ladders r worth a look. ELT 230 is three part, light and can use first two parts for daily use. Nice and wide base for winter

I was using a ramsey A frame ladder, they are ok just too heavy to be lugging about all day. 10 rung lyte ladders for domestic are great.

ELT330 is the treble...

Right enough @High\-tower my 230s are daily one and 330s are gutter/three up ones see..

I'd bought an even bigger ELT set at first but they were too long for back garden access, think they were 30 footers

I used to use the 8.5m 12 rung elt triples and they were heavy

Taking 1 section off helps but still heavier than the elt doubles due to thicker wall thickness on the aluminium

If i went back to trad i would use an a frame now

I'm going to order a ( double a frame ). But was wondering what size to go for. I've got a triple standard ladder but would like a a frame just not sure in size is it any different because it's a A-frame Thanks

I usually use a regular 3.0m double ladder, however I find a 3.0m double pointer a bit short, as they can get a bit narrow at the top, and you tend to pitch them to the side of the window. so I'd go for for a 3.5m double as a minimum.

I was going to buy an A frame but I can't find one with D rungs, they all seem to have square rungs which I find uncomfortable.

Sorry 1 more question What make a frame ladder would u buy as there is so many out there thanks
