Anybody used dor2dor leaflet distribution?

Evening all.

Anybody used dor2dor company for leaflet distribtion?. Seems alot cheaper than royal mail.

However thats not always the best

Or what other companies have you used before?.(national)

And evertbodies leaflet success rates?

Mines 2 to 3 percent atm.

Response rate in total for me is 3-4 per 1000. so 0.3- 0.4 %

2 or 3 percent is excellent. in fact that's outstanding, that's 20-30 customers from a 1000 leaflets, 1-2 days leafletting for 20-30 custies?

If you're getting that return why would you want to pay a company to do it? bang out 5k in a week and you've got over 100 custies.

I'm pretty sceptical about that rate of return over a large sample size to be honest.

I do a lot of leafleting myself & to be honest I've got alot of work from it. I'm 2 months in to business & I walked in to a area full of army houses & picked up half the area. Couldn't believe it.. I've paid to go in the local news paper.. It was very expensive I thought.. £180 for a month.. I thought I was going to be in the local free papers also & I wasn't. I've had one little old lady call me who lives in a small flat.. Plus a call asking for a plumer after I said I was a window cleaner,lol! ****! So I don't advise to anyone doing this..I've got alot from handing leaflets out.. Plus I don't know if u have in your area but try a web site called street life.. It's been amazing for me.. Loads of work from there & good work.

Do you advertise on streetlife? Or just respond to others requests?

yes I advertise on street life.. I get a good responce from there.. It's worth giving it ago..

Same here. They sent me a 'rate card' wanting something like £200 for a direct email to about 1500 users.

No chance. I have a few custys on there that are quick to refer me so that works.

Door knocking still rules supreme.
