Ecover, Wow!

Help Support WCF:

Whats the mixing quantities? Or is it just the case of a good squirt of it in your bucket? I currently use unger liquid which i find fine but its a pain when it comes to ordering some, be much easier to pick something up from a local shop especially if it is better than the unger stuff...

I got some... but hardly use any liquids... i just love using water /emoticons/tongue.png LMAO

Just got some of the Ecover from Tescos and some distilled vinegar from Asda, it's the 568ml bottle for 48p but its dosn't actually say white vinegar, it says distilled malt vinegar and is a clear colour, is this the correct one?

That's the one.

Whats this ecover and can I get it in any supermarket?

I have always used fairy!!!
Morrisons or Tesco.

I tried it today and yesterday, Its a lot thiner than fairy so you need to use more of it. If I could get it at the same price as fairy then I would swap Ecover untill that day ill be using fairy.

I also tried ungers soft rubber, not a fan of it. When I catch a cob web or a bit dirt on the rubber it starts leaving trails every where. I was having to wipe the rubber a lot. It wored well on my fortnightly cleans though. Im not sure why maybe less dirt on the windows? I dont think it helped that is was using Ecover for the first time either.

Ill be going back to the old pulex hard. Never had any throuble with it yet

I have the square bucket with lid, I use same squirt as fairy, put lid on and shake til the lid pops, then it's ready for action.. Ecover is only a few pence more than fairy, bulk buy when ecover is on offer..

I get fairy for 6.25 for 5 litres. Ecover is 9.99. for 5 litres. Ive got the same bucket the unger one? It may not seem it but fairy always last longer. Ive tried the squir in bucket method, it doesnt work for me, I put a little line of fairy on each side of the sleeve and then dunk it in water. Last for ages when I do it this way

In tesco Fairy was like £1.25 for 433 ml, or £2.50 for 933 ml

Ecover was on offer for 2, 1 ltrs for £3!

Ecover isn't about the price, it's not the cheapest. It's about how good it is, it's as good as the professional..

We used fairy to start with, a few years ago we noticed that the results had changed. I looked into it and the way it was made had been changed slighty, we started to get streaks and so on. So we switched to Unger, much easier and seemed to work. But then our local supplier closed his shop and went totally web based (I don't like buying off the web!!). I tried Ecover with vinegar yesterday and got great results, it goes on great and blades off really easliy. Checked the windows today and no smears or white marks!! So thanks for the advice, much appreciated!!!
