The new transits, and Renault vans, both have an anti corrosion 12 year guarantee /emoticons/smile.png

never knew that i love the new transits will look into them maybe depends on price tho i never pay much for a van but get a lot of return via them

I have an Peugeot expert lwb 2.0 10 plate 40,000 miles, i have had this van two years and tbh the engine is fine, and i have a load through at the top in the cab, were i can store my 60ft pole and still have about 3 ft of space bye the back doors, but the build quality is shocking, in the two years i have had it there must be at least 10 things that needed replacing, from drop links, anti roll bar, wiper motor, leaking Ariel fitting, , the list goes on. I am looking to get a new van next year and was looking at the Vivaro or Traffic but one problem with them is that the battery they fit is different to a standard battery, i am not sure what or how, but i have read that you have to spend about £500 extra to be able to have the split relay fitted to the vans battery. I do believe there is a post on here about it somewhere. I guess more investigation is needed.

Toying with getting the transit custom limited and then buying the sports body kit online and my mate will fit it. Might order it in January so I receive it in the spring /emoticons/smile.png

Wouldn't bother going that route. I would look T just getting the sport from the off. Just get one with the 2.2L engine instead of the 2.0L and will save a few ££££ indeed.

Don't see how. I can get a limited with bigger engine and bigger payload brand new from cheapnewvans.com for £23,000, yet a sport is £26,700, both inc vat.

But @Damo i know you have a transit, so any advice is appreciated /emoticons/smile.png

Sorry my post was a bit misleading

I would get a pre reg sport/ex demo or something like that.

A local garage had a pre sport for 20,100£ plus vat.

Them prices you have quoted are not competitive at all. Not by a long shot.

When I sourced the connect it had done 231 miles and we got it for 17k inc vat. The lower model new was 17,300 inc vat brand new. So we got a massive saving on a pre reg.

But the price you have quoted for a limited aint good at all.

I have an ex-BT 54 plate Vauxhall Combo 1.3cdti. Great little van with a 785kg payload, so I can carry a 350L tank without problem.

The problem I have @Damo is I want a van with twin sliding doors. I have had 2 dealerships looking for a pre reg one, and nothing, so it looks like I'll have to order brand new, hence the increased price. Still, I'll claim it against tax so you lot can help pay for it /emoticons/biggrin.png

Ah that doesn't help at all. Seen a few pre reg with twin side loading doors. They are part of the 4 year plan deals.

4 years free warranty, services and road side breakdown.

It was a business model trend 310 with air con and twin side loading doors. They were knocking them out at £16,500. You just didn't get the 4 years deal bit.

Where, where

I would imagine all gone. I will have a dig around and see what I can find. As for lots of saved links.

You'll get a deal on the new Partner

BTW, how do you fix your pole holders to your roof Steve?
