I'm pretty much all residential, keep getting other window cleaners telling me I should go in to commercial window cleaning, got advised old people's homes are a good one, so looked a few up last week local to me sent them a e mail and went to see one that replied quoted £160 he squirmed a bit, said his old cleaner charged £130 so I asked were is he then, said he came few times and never came back, to be fair is a large property, just window after window after window...on my own first clean windows doors and frames sills took me 2hrs 50 set up clean pack away and gone..anyone got any other suggestions on businesses to target from your experience, was hard work for 3 hours and £160 [emoji23] but we'll worth it. be doing 2 monthly is that the norm for places like this...thanks in advance

no I don't plan on going canvassing it, just wondered what other kind properties others done..just wanted some suggestions.....I literally spent 5 mins sending few e mails to old people's homes and got a reply next day...so thought that was relatively easy....yes I do some shops that customers own and one office block from a customer...

What kind of things did you include in the email Jay?

@jay198127 it's good to see you stuck with your guns re price

I've a gym that gets done.. came via a notification on FB that they were looking for a window cleaner.

Also a kind of activity centre I do as well, beware that things like that may dial back services like us in winter though.

Also looking to target care homes, prices per house ain't great here so stuff like that bolsters my earnings really.

Large mansions are worth looking into,i have a few of those. Not commercial I know but can pay as well or better and identifiable via right move recently sold property searches.

My business is 50% commercials . I do like the mix though. Commercials are more free , I can do most of them in the mornings or evenings. But most of the references to more work ,come from private homeowners still.
