Too funny.
Dave is a good laugh with a gentle nature about him. I'll chin the **** lol:laugh:
I didn't say that did I??

Although he did have it coming..sneaky Russians:rofl:

Well I'm lazy with little ambition. If I can keep on earning more than most manual workers in the 2 or 3 days a week that I work, then I plan to carry on as I am. Think I've got the work life balance right. 3 days for work. 4 days for me.

Some days I think build, some days I think like mark.

Can't have it both ways, either graft **** off for years to buold something big or get to a point where your comfy and just drift along with no stress. both appeal

Just been weighing up the pros and cons of what makes sense to take the business to where i want it to be not just do what appeals to me and have plans for once i am full to bursting and then will have to start taking on staff

The main priority for me is getting to that point first which in all honesty won't take that long (couple of months or so)

I have some ideas in the pipeline and will let you know once i decide what ones to implement in a couple of months time

Plus i am having issues with my shoulder at the moment due to a torn rotator cuff a few years ago that doesn't want to 100% heal itself at the moment and the stretching from doing awkward fascias and roofs etc i can do without

Did 1 today that was booked a long time ago

5 bed detached house fasias and windows

Now my shoulder is on fire and the pain is spreading up my neck as usual

I tore my rotar cuff a couple of years back when polling at height.

Went for physio but it was never right.

Changed over to extremes and allways have extra length in the pole so as not to over stretch helped massively.

If your planning on sticking to just the Windows I have some local work for sale if your interested you have my number.

Also a key factor in all the add ons is that they do detract fro the staple. Yeah they make a nice break but they aren't always there.

I had a good smooth run Tuesday no problems and done by 3.30pm now this makes me think. Once the round days are all up to such spec then the add ons can get consideration.

Windows only is starting to make more sense to me in so many ways.
Save so much hassle for a start
I'm 99% windows only. I've got one block of flats I clean the gutters out on once a year. I don't do fascias and I don't do conny roofs. Rather go home early. And I'd rather not do that block of flats guttering but it's part of the contract.

my plans for 2017, of to lanzarote for a week through the beginning of the new year lovely little spot went there 2 years ago after I first started out made my plans there goals that I wanted to achieve how I would set out doing so

next year ill be taking on a young lad whos been out a few times with me recently loves it takes pride in his work we get on well keen as mustard will be self employed feb march april then on books 32 hours a week 4 days a week. 4 days windows leaves me with a fri sat to do pressure washing oven cleans gutters and conservatory cleans I enjoy variety and for me its all about offering my customers other services aswell.

bought two new rounds in new areas on Monday of a friend with another two in talks with other windys , never had to canvas for work but that changes as of February with 10,000 leaflets ordered and some advertising campaigns to get planned out also push facebook big deal for me as I hate it but can obviously see the advantage. Price hike also in order come april-may and be turning limited shortly after that.

This will be me 2.5 years in love it made some scarifies but on the long term they'll be worth it.

Good luck to everyone on here in the new year for there plans stay motivated and positive
