Last day tomorrow for me, nothing much to do just tying up loose ends, scraps and bits ive put off, about 10 houses should be done by 1pm then thats it, well i could have a job to do friday but i will decide on that tomorrow, wouldnt mind stripping the van out and giving it a proper clean and re install everything on friday

Nice one. Which center parcs are you heading too? I'm at Woburn at the moment. I wanted to go over Xmas but all the restaurants were booked for Xmas day.

Bored?

No chance I've got a list of things to do..

Ride my bike a few times

Go fishing a few times

Couple of nights out on the razz

Play on xbox all day in pants eating chocolate

Tidy out my shed and sort all gear out

Gut the van, full valet and reinstall new ply and shelving

Revamp my websites

Make an electric hose reel

Go boxing day shopping for new clothes and hit the sales

Make a business plan for next year

Etc

don't understand how by being off you get so far behind...surely the time your off the cleans that were scheduled during that period just get missed don't they..say your works 4 weekly you have 4-5 days off when you go back you try cram in the jobs you missed on top of the scheduled work for the days you return...then surely when your 4 weeks comes round again for the days you had off you will have no work for those days as you done them when you returned?..or do all your customers from when you return just get put back a few days while you catch up, so then when say your usual customers 4 weeks turns out to be for example 7th of month you may not turn up until 9th or 10th because you been trying to fit in the jobs you missed while off......just easier in my opinion the time you have off your customers know your off....everyone's entitled to a holiday..

We were here this time last year and saw the fireworks so decided to give it a miss this time. We took the kids to see Santa yesterday morning. The presents were a bit naff but the kids enjoyed it. I seriously considered doing Xmas dinner in the lodge if we'd come over Xmas but in the end didn't fancy it. We ate in last night and it was a bit of a pain because of the limited utensils, pans, etc so make sure you take some extra pots and pans from home. I think it would be ok for a small family but we're a family of seven.

My round just gets shifted down a week, so 4 weekly becomes 5. my round is often a week behind anyway so no one will bat an eye lid and if they do well keep batting your eye lids it wont change anything lol.

All done and dusted now, looking forward to a lay in tomorrow..just as well looks a windy one tomorrow.

yes mate we normally take extra utensils pots pans etc as we're also family of 6...doing xmas dinner in the lodge can't justify the price out...santa was really good at Woburn last year.hoping the sherwood one will be ok..all the best mate hope rest your stays ok and have good Xmas...
