THE EXCELERATOR

T

Trad-Man

Hey guys and girls i just wanted everyone's opinion if they have used the new Excelerator.

-How have you found it so far?

-Any issues?

-Any mods?

-what types of jobs you prefer to use it on?

I will attach a video to this thread showing how I personally use it so that I can cut down on using ladders where I can. May I point out before you watch that for video purposes I have slowed the pace down to hopefully let folks see exactly what I do.

Thank you and have a great day everyone!!

I use it purely on a pole with fliq as i epoxied a wfp angle adaptor into the handle to use on an old fiberglass pole

Still can't beat fixed liquidator handles in hand

Excelerator. 10" with Fliq on short and long poles and actually use it as a scrubber a lot of the time also. 12" Excelerator bare for in hand. If I want or need fixed I still default to my straightened (25°) bi component with 10,12, or 14" Liquidator channels. No issues with clips at all, never have. But I have found zip tie pieces under rubber at clips to firm up rubber is a 'must have' and a bit of gaffa tape centred on the channel adds a touch of security to stop handle movement.

OK now correct me if I'm wrong you said that you put them on both ends?? (zip/cable ties)Where found just putting it in the leading end only seemed to work .

And not necessary on both side/ends.
Yes both ends and no I lose them from time to time from one end or the other and as soon as it happens I know. The increased play in the rubber on the turn is noticeable.

I do the same with galvanised wire..just thicker than a paper clip..just cut it to length and push down the gap where the bulb on the rubber joins the flat blade of the rubber to take up the gap in the bottom of the channel..the rubber goes nowhere then
