snow

We have worked in a light snow before, I don't mind it as long as the snow is done and it's not a blizzard.

The biggest issue for a lot of window cleaners is living hand to mouth when starting out so a few days off cause of the weather can really hurt. This is where good money management comes in. Just last year I managed to get to a point with my finances where if needed and off due to weather or injury I can last a month without working or leaving me in pain.

This year I am focusing on other areas of the cleaning business and these are jobs that would need postponement due to bad weather but I am going into with this in mind and at the time of booking clients I tell them, if we need to reschedule so be it. They are all sound with that.

In the end only you can decide if the conditions in your area are workable or not.

I just drive sensibly to the conditions and it is fine

If someone smashes in to you that is what insurance is for

It's getting around the streets that's the problem, do you want to risk smashing your van up

One of the things I want to do this year is make hay whilst the sun shines. Generally in work 9-2 ish which is great but when you get to Thursday and it chucks it down for two days you wish you would have got everything done earlier in the week.

New way of working is starting earlier and finishing much later which will mean the end of the week can be used for ad ons/marketting or tossing it off or weather delays etc.

This is exactly why I do 3 long days mon Tuesday and wed. If the weather turns bad you've done all you can. No good going home at 2 if it's a nice day then can't finish your week off coz of the weather.

Sent by me still tucked up in bed all finished for the week /emoticons/tongue.png

Cold and windy, no snow. Supposed to be working with my father in law tradding but may be too windy. Otherwise I got an fsg job on a bungalow I can do

not too bad in Middlesbrough, thawing out nicelly, a couple of BIG Asians houses to do, get them done to be able to relax this weekend, hate it when theres only a few to finish off for that week, always on edge to get out to get work done, i just love this work or maybe it might be the Money. Get a little nice Wad , then you end up having to spend some of it Spoils it
