Quote Crazy

Still flooding in another 15 enquiries yesterday and 1 this morning.

Only booked 2 out of them though as tgey are to far out of my parameters.

So 15 and still £14 average, both fronts only.

Just thought id keep this post updated as its great advertising imo and can show the power of social media.

Now given over 80 quotes, booked 22 customers and still over £14 average price per clean.

Still going too.

What's your page called mate?

If i need to price from facebook or email without going (always a risk isnt it) I google the address and then look for the rightmove sold prices page which is usualy on 1st page of google. If the house has been sold in the last 10 years there are often pics on there of front and back or enough insides to give you a fair idea.

On your Facebook page with the services how do you add the text on like you have ?

@Alex87 click on edit page. Services. Add services. You can add pics to go beside the services too..to display each extra job or examples you have done.

Boosting a status for me is giving me far more work than say having the business page just show up locally or whatever.

In my opinion it's the best way to used paid fb,with boosting a status to one town first...see how that goes, and perhaps add a few towns like I have now done on that status. As I'd got plenty from town 1...my toon!

For add on work I would have boosted to three or four of my local largest towns.

Either no one round here wants a window cleaner or I'm doing something wrong.

1. Wrote a post on my timeline with a before/after photo of a window. Explain what I do etc.

2. Hit post and then clicked 'boost post'.

3. Set target audience as women aged 28-54 with interests: Gardening, Home, Home and garden & Family

4. 5-6 mile or so radius from my house.

5. Set the budget to £12.00 over 7 days.

Firstly I've had not a sausage from it.

Secondly it's actually used my budget and cost me money because of my Facebook friends who have seen it I've had 2 photo clicks, 1 page like and 3 post likes from people I already know.

So it's basically cost me £6 for a page like and a few post likes.

Am I doing something wrong here or am I just getting bad luck?

Don't bother with that

Use the search function and find every local swap and sell and community group you can find and post on them morning and night

I have tried that in the past with reasonable response. Not knocking it as many people have had success but every single customer I've gained through Facebook selling groups have been messers.

So I thought as Reach For The Glass had amazing success with his boosted post I would try it but as I've had zero response I'm thinking maybe I've done something wrong or am boosting the wrong type of post?

I think timing is everything here too, along with luck maybe.

I never added any intrests in just left it blank. Make sure you post the is visible to all of Facebook not friends only.

Timing wise i start mine at friday around 6pm let it run till 11.30 ish, then pause it. Restart it sat morning at 10 ish let it run until 11.30pm again and same for sunday.

Ive done it again weekend just gone, had around 10 page likes and 10 quotes. Didnt get any this time though as they thought ot was too expensive. Oh well.

Its definitely hit and miss on the old face book, but its just the same with flyers and door knocking also cards in shop windows.

You get mucked about with all forms of advertising and some times none or not many takers as well.

Just a case of plugging each one till you get there.
