If you don't think having one foot of the ladder on the edge of a wall is a risk then what is?

A very good mate of mine fell off a ladder from that height, hit some iron railings, broke his back and died.

Positioning the ladder like that is asking for an accident.

I am avoiding ladder and wfp combination at all costs.

me two, apart from step ladders :cool: i bought a extension ladder when i started ( last sept:kiss:) only use it to do my mums house, i realize i dont have the experience. being a ladder noob, step ladders are fine.. to old and fat to start risking my health:eek:ldy:

I'll say it again there's no way anybody went up that ladder, if you did and then hurt yourself,or damaged the owners things your life and public liability insurance would be void not worth the risk imo

:eek::eek::eek:

I saw another WC some years ago stand a ladder on a kitchen extension that was only about 5 foot deep to clean the top floor of the property. I was doing the adjacent property at the time and I nearly had heart attack watching him, never mind him falling of his ladder from the third floor. Some of us seem to have no fear.

A good friend of my mothers has spent the last 40 years of his life seriously crippled due to falling off his ladder when he was about 20.

Honestly tench, if you really did climb that ladder as pictured please don't do it again friend. Find another way. We don't want to see you posting on here saying "Don't do what I did. It isn't worth it." /emoticons/biggrin.png
