As title says lads, whats your start time in the morning?

When i eventually switch from trad, i want to start early in morning, say seven maybe half six.

What do you think lads, whats everyones start time?

I figure im not "looking" threw pwoples top windys so i can start whenever?

09.30 - 16.30 but eat on the hoof and if no drinks offered don't stop for a break.

I don't like traffic and that's a problem round here.

9 o'clock start. I sometimes feel that's too early lots of curtains shut and dressing gown scraggy head people. Feel like I'm intruding earlier than that.

I finish when I've done usually between 1-3 pm. 3 jobs left today and it's half 11. One of them is an out of the way 1st clean though so and I'm having a sarnie right now so probably home for 2 today. I do work at a very fast pace though, no chatting or messing about.

I'd tell you to **** right off if you cleaned my house windows at that time in the morning... I like to start on the houses later, 9-9.30, it gives everyone a chance to go out and get out of my way haha!

Thanks lads for all the advice, the way i see it, if i can get out at 7.30 an be relativley quiet, as not to wake anyone i could be home before twelve eleven even

Why not, its seems more effiecent, i be up at half six every morning anyway.

If you called at my house to clean at that time I'd lash a bucket of water out the window at you lol. 8 has been the earliest for residential and that's at houses I know are up etc. 8.30 any other time

I think you'll be surprised how much noise you actually make even if you are being quiet, especially at that time of the morning. Opening the gate, putting up ladders to get over a flat roof, even the brush hitting the brickwork next to the window or the water hissing on the glass. I had a couple of curtains twitching this morning as more people are home because of half term. I start at 8am and often think that I'm pushing it a bit sometimes. I always ask new customers what time they leave in the morning so I know who I can get to early.

I start between 8 and 9 if I have commercial stuff. Rarely clean a private house before 10 or even 11. People like to sleep in here, and I respect that. ☺

I leave at 7 get water and start between 8-830.

I do a Comercial job 3 times a year and have to get on the glass between 6-7am depends on time of year, I text everyone explaining and say if any issues to this just let me know and I will do later in day for the last 2 years not a single person asking me not to do them, I even get the odd note in the windows asking to knock so I can go and do the backs as many are usually at work.

Started half 7 once, never again, not very happy custys! I wouldn't start before 8, even if they are early risers. The pump makes more noise then you realise, plus the water hitting the glass makes a hell of a racket!

You will get to know who appreciates early calls. A few of mine like me in and out so they can lock the gates and be on their way by 8.am

If your round is mainly retired people, then a later start?

I have one job start at 7.15 as the owner as a dog that as the run of the garden during the day while she works and like to be be in and lock the gate behind us she is security mad 15 Mins work she leaves for work at 7.45 the good thing is my next four customers all leave for work approx 7.00 my favourite day as I'm a early riser only thing is 7.15 in the morning it still pretty dark this time of year.
