hi guys !

Been wondering how Many of you Working saturdays ( Windows ) ?

Im under the impresion that its common esp. In UK .

Over here in Dane country People's would choke in their morning coffee If a windy or any other kind of craftsman showed up in a weekend. :eek:ldy:Mon-fri, thats how it is ,7-16 . So what about you ??...

Saturday is a catch up day if the weathers not been great in the week. In the UK Saturday is seen more and more as a working day theses days.

I've occasionally done a Saturday to catch up and have found its great for getting neighbours and passers bye signing up as more people are around off work to see you.

Totally agree - when building a round Saturdays are great days to work. Lots more people home and when they're thinking about DIY etc and see a friendly professional windy on the street they see the easy solution!

Also I've found my regular customers don't mind either.

Used to regularly work Saturdays as I was often behind with my work and hated it. Then I went wfp.

Seldom ever work Saturdays now. My work is all finished before the weekend all year round and I don't have to work late into the day on weekdays either. More time for my wife and family. It's great and I love it that way

Rarely work Saturday but have no objection to it and customers never have.

As some posters have already commented on - you do get seen by others and that's good for business.

I work most if not all Sundays, no traffic, parking very easy & often free (I'm in London).

Gives me days off during the week which is great because if I'm shopping, going out for lunch etc it's much quieter.

My kids are 20 & 22 so it's not necessary I'm around on the weekends anymore. Wife doesn't work so we also get some time together which is a bonus [emoji106]

thanks for good insights guys ! I do see the effects in people being home and watch their neighbours Windows getting done gives more work.

Must admit that late afternoon is that exactly point when i pick up new ones , as they see me there.

Work Saturdays what .christ I nearly choked on my strongbow . I don't even work Friday's . Well very very rare . We go out Monday to Thursday and absolutely smash it to bits .

I will book in one off jobs or f. S. G an conservatory cleans on a Saturday.

Did one Saturday on regular work to catch up once. Didn't get a good feeling from customers. So not doing it again.

Only work Saturdays if I am way behind then only 9-12 then every 4th week work a sat 1-2 on 2 comercials that not safe to do in week or fit them in on Sunday morning if I want Sat off
