The bi component handle is good..especially if you put the end in a vice and bend the elbow to 25° instead of the 40° it comes at

The pockets are bloody useless on these trousers, here was me thinking the would be handy with having extra pouches stitched in to them. I'll go back to my usual ones with the summer (or what we call summer in Scotland) coming.

It is shorts weather again for me now

Used to be shorts all year round but the last 2 years my duff knee has been suffering

I wasn't lol as i slid for a couple of metres with the bike across the back of my leg with just my knee touching the ground before the rest of me touched down

Took around 4 months before i had no dressings on it at all as every time it was changed it took a lot of the scab etc back off

Oh that sounds a sore one mate, I was lucky..... I tore the passenger side front wing off a Mondeo with my knee cap and only suffered ligament and nerve damage. 60mph very nearly head on. Bike was a right off. And I spilt my helmet in half when I landed.

Talking of trousers...I buy 'Police' jeans in the Sales. I find their jeans very tough and perfect for work. That's 'Police' the make/brand, not the old bill lol. I bought 3 pairs of Police - Sabertooth jeans and have had them years it seems.

I'm terrible, I go through trouser/combats/jeans something awful. I need to try and find some that are really hard wearing. I was thinking trying army issue combats

I use some I "acquired" during my army days. Lightweight, dry out in less then 15 mins and hard wearing. They not in indestructible tho and will wear over time
