im going to do a facebook page, when starting up what categories do you click on, Theres no cleaning etc to click onto.

I created a page from my named account. Set up as a local business. Then you can post as you or your company.

It then let me invite my friends to like it. They and I have then shared it and nearly 100 likes in the first day.

You can then 'boost' post. Which costs money. Apparently you get good value for your firsts one. This just makes it pop up as suggested on local people's feeds. I tbibk

I did mine last year there is a link to my website and I get lots of work from it, more than from Google, had a call yesterday from someone asking me to quote for Fascias when I asked how they got my number they said Facebook. Make sure you join facebook Groups.

I THOUGHT it was FREE, when they asking me to Promote my page they ask for my credit card details. or paypal account. IS it not FREE.?

What is a username to add for your page, it advises one

Use it.....it links to your page and people can tell what they are clicking on rather than the rather long and complicated url for your fb page.

its free as long as you dont want to promote things. im getting it now, time consuming, its starting to get there now, get people to like your page or invite freinds etc, get more profile

You can change the URL later on I think if needed providing its available . the one created covered my main work area town name so no else could set up at a later date so facebook.comtownnamewindowcleaner

This works for me across the board as thats what people would typically do a google search for town name window cleaner(s) plus I bought up the domain names available and have one directed to my website as well as my business name domain main web addy
