Hi everyone, I have a problem and I'm hoping you can help me out.

I've been cleaning a house wfp every 6 weeks for the last 3 years and there is a rear upstairs window that always has marks on it once the water dries, it's the only window it happens to and I can't work out why.

I've paid extra attention to the rinse and even been up on the ladder to check it's clean before I leave.

Within a hour or so the guy( really understanding) texts to let me know the marks are back!

Any ideas would be appreciated as I think the customer will lose patience eventually.

Have you tried magic sponging the area that marks?

I had a window like that and it was obviously something on the glass as i magic sponged it thoroughly and they never came back

We have several customers where they have extremely hydrophobic glass that has been 'damaged' by cement residue. On one of our customers houses it appeared on recently fitted windows after the walls were re-grouted. The walls were re-grouted after the windows fitted. It has etched into the glass and leaves tiny white round marks. We haven't been able to remove it with chemical means.

The next solution is to abrasive clean them but that's out of the realm of my skills and remit of window cleaning.
