Find a dirty street or two in the morning and canvass every house.

Post on facebook for sale pages with a good looking ad, including your logo, but that won't work till at least tomorrow night.

Just don't wait for the phone to ring, flyers DO NOT work that well.

Yeah, I've put loads of leaflets out but it's going to take a long time to get a return off them as I still am getting phone calls from the ones I did 3 months ago so you can imagine how long it's going to take.

Anyone tried gumtree for a canvasser?

I know I should practise what I preach but if you're sat waiting for the phone to ring and it isn't, why pay for a canvasser when if you're that desperate you could do it yourself and see a much faster result.

If you put on your leaflets if you want a window cleaner put this in your window on X date and we will come and book a date.

Something along those lines, then people have to decide there and then and not make a decesion in the next x amount of months.

Or you can canvass, or canvas and ones that are not in put a leaflet through the letter box with the above on them.

Works well in some areas and others doesnt work at all, but intrestingly, area that doesnt work, I get one or two phone calls like 2 or 3 months lol

I tried 2 areas G that I KNEW needed a windie and it didn't work.

Yeah the daft thing is when I get into it I tend to do quite well. I could really do with someone with me to keep me motivated. It bugs me when people say they find it really easy.

I keep getting loads of people asking me if I have any work on so I say yeah need loads of canvassing doing and then I get the "Oh I'm decorating the dogs kennel tomorrow, I'll give you a knock when your not in."
