Customers giving tips in March?

Maybe I am under-priced (I dont think so!), maybe I am just fkn awesome but tips are flying in every day.

Today I got 65€ in tips of 230€ invoiced work.

A lot of first cleans and some gfs job that left the owner speechless.

Is tipping a normal thing or it shows an error in my pricing?

I get a few tips through the year usually bottles of wine etc but they don't tip at xmas which I am not bothered about as with one customer it would just feel awkward as we have become friends over the last 10-11 years so when he gives me a bottle of wine he always says its for my wife .

But I wouldn't say no to 65 euro tip though

I clean the windows of an Indian doctor who's house is worth four million. Every time I clean his windows he gives me a bottle of famous grouse whiskey. I have no idea why, he's a horrible b*stard and i cannot stand whiskey

I find the same ones tend to tip regular,the good uns that also go out their way to make payment etc...

Ask for a bottle single malt every third clean instead of the cheap stuff every time :rofl:

And also define what is a tip as such a show of kindness and appreciation I get coffee, cake and biscuits every time I call off some which for me is as good as money at any time of the year
