Hi guys Ive put together a list of items I will be purchasing and would like to know if i missed anything or if theres things i dont need on the list.

I am starting new and wont be using a ladder I dont have the funds for one and roof rack plus the houses near me are very high.

I would like to go wfp route but its to expensive.

I have a bucket in that list also a unger small bucket 18l and i know i would need extra rubbers not sure which ones to go for?

Is there a place near you to buy pure water if so the setup costs would be almost same for a wfp setup (backpack and pole) and I think you would do 1st cleans better, I don't know how the pole only trad guys do their first cleans but I think if you are cleaning frames you would struggle without a ladder?

You won't need 2x 10 inch liquidators, just 1 with fliq and maybe a 14 inch liquidator, and a 14 inch applicator. Also get a bucket on a belt, scraper, scrim. Pole work is tricky, I'm just getting to grips with it, and I'm a competent tradder (well I think I am lol). You can pick up roof racks on eBay for any car, even seen smart cars with them for around £30, and ladders for £96 for a 6.92m triple (I got 1) and nearly never use the top section. I'd suggest targeting bungalows, and using the 1st £120 to get the ladders sorted, otherwise it'll be a real struggle.

If funds are tight get rid of bottle holder and tool belt and use a cheap belt that hold trousers up .I don't see any scrim or microfiber cloths on your list I have just changed over to fishscale microfiber from Paragon

Get your microfibre from wilkos..won't find better and only 3 quid each for 60x80cm

Where did you get your ladders from. Need to get some but not sure which ones to get

cheers guys yes I will get from Wilko what's the diff between scrum and microfibres as I read some of u use scrims and some don't.

What clothes do I need for leaded windows will I need a finer glass cloth to finish off with?

B&q, abru 6.92m triples. Not the best out there but good enough. Use them day in day out for 1 1/2 years. Will upgrade later on in year, solely due to the fact that I can get away with a large double, as they come off less and less as I go wfp

I've tried the paragon stuff on @mrtaytay recommendation..they are good but after trying pretty much everything on the market over the years i still can't beat the wilko ones and several others on here now use them

@daveyboy were these the wilko clothes u was on about the blue one. Also do I just use these for everything u do as I plan on using a cloth on an applicator on pole to dry leaded windows. Also for frames and sills these or something thicker like the other in photo below thanks

Ok ive been changing bits and pieces around as Ive ended up going for a gardiner back pack for the tops and a clx 22 which ive ordered so the trad gear for the bottoms im sorting out now. I will go for moerman 14 inch and a 10inch can i get away without a bucket??? If i need one what can you recommend ill be working out of my car. I dont want spillage.

Ive read alot of you dont use one here and a bucket with a lid is pricey like £25. If you use a sprayer what bottle do u use? And how do you clean ure applicator if you dont use a bucket. Also any recomendations for a cheap scraper?

I have in my checkout so far

x1 moerman boab

x1 moerman 14 inch applicator excelerator

x1 moerman 14 liquidator with hard rubber

x1 moerman 10 inch liquidator with hard rubber

and unger ergotech belt setup with belt

ergotech pouch

ergotech bottle holder

microfibres wilko as davey mentioned.

Unger scrapper £1.96 + VAT from Wintecs you will need a box of blades to go with it, but I hardly ever use my scrapper . If getting Moerman get the 10 inch Fliq .
