So i get my backpack today, I thought they would have included a connection so I could connect it to the pole.

Is there a solution to this? Ive been a B&Q and homebase and the dont have anything to connect it.

It should be a hose lock connection mate mine has 5mm hose coming from the pack then normal size hose attached to it with a hose lock fitting

oh dear! the problem is there are so many diffrent types of connections that they can all be fitted with them. looks like you might have to go back on the site and buy the connections now

Looks the same as mine take a pic if the controls on the side, my pipe was chopped and a thick washer type thing and a o-ring to attach it on but there will be a diy way to do it

theres only an on-off switch with 2 holes at it

Oh god, this is not what I wanted, I may be able to salvage it though.

I think i can contorl the flow a bit with the handle thingy lol. Ill give it a go just now and see what happens.

yer it could be controlled by the valve but would put pressure on the pump and could cause problems with it,

Yeah, my pump uses one of them, might be better if you can stick it to the actual backpack though

the valve wil be ok for turning it on and off, but just open fully for on and close full for off, wouldn't have it half open to reduce flow

Yeah thats why I though, it will only go so low then starts to judder, if you know what I mean, (goes on/ off, rapidly) Any other suggestions? Could I add a flow control to it?

yer thats right, it will do that and that wont do it any good, yer you can wire in a flow controller if you need to. that will sort it, or just leave it with the on-off only

Wont be any good to me when it flows that fast. Whats a normal flow rate for wfp?

I have mine on full blast all the time and use my tap to control the flow just open it slightly
