Forgot to lift my new ecover from the kitchen this morning and was too far from home and tescos so got a bottle of fairy. Can notice the difference straight away. Getting pee'd off and only on 3rd house. Seems the rubber is skipping more and leaving marks everywhere and staying on the glass drying in grey, slowing me down big time scrimming!! Hate fairy now!!

that says a lot for ecover then! looks like ecover all the way then! i brought a bottle to try, not used it yet as i dont do much trad.

was it fairy original? i dont find too much difference between original and ecover, both do a really good job for me, its only the other 'flavours' of fairy that are ****

when I left my bucket with ecover added to the water for about a week it smelt like rotting veg, But still think it's the best for window cleaning

Ecover - another great discovery / suggestion from this forum. Always used Ettore Squeegee Off which was really good but obviously expensive, especially considering I had to order it over the internet and pay p&p. Now it's a quick trip to Tesco's.

how come you left it for a week??

Ok so after reading this and many treads, tried ecover today after finishing my unger liquid off last night, converted!!! No bubbles which was good but fantastic lub!!! So will adding white vinegar bring an even better shine??? GF

It does for me and I've compared with and without over time on same window.
