Most of you guys are doing a lot more trad work that me these days, /emoticons/tongue.png but I got to wondering in a moment of boredom what applicator sleeve do you favour and is there any particular reason for your choice?

When I started out many years ago I got my kit from a local janitorial wholesaler, that ment the bog basic Pulex brass sqeegy and the standard white Pulex applicator sleeves. When Unger came out with their green microfibre sleeves I moved over to them and found them much better at cleaning. /emoticons/smile.png On the regularly given advice of Carl Robinson AKA Karlos Daze I also got an Ettore Porcupine, I still haven't really made my mind up about that one.

So your turn now, what have you tried and what do you like?

unger, ettore and one other one i cant remember the name of and to be honest they all seem much of the same to me

Unger microfiber. With the scrubber on the side. 12 inch. Green & white. As mark said to be honest they all do the same to me. I find it's the actual squeegee that cleans the window.

to be fair mate i bought one from b&q last year and its been fine no problems lol as above its all about the rubber my friend;)

What are the differences anyway?

I've seen window cleaners use sponges before now with squeegee, heck I know of one window cleaner who started out with sponges and towls, before getting the right tools!
