Wfp For Domestic Customers...

I have large domestic rounds and the rounds continue to grow each week All the windows we clean using the wfp (apart inside ) Complaints wise out of a year I have only have 2 or 3 (drips, water marks) which I think isn’t that bad. Even though each customer receives a letter letting them know what to expect from the first clean.

My thought is this, would you say that the wfp system is more for commercial use, than domestic? Does it work for you, or even though you have the wfp, do you blade domestic and wfp commercial?

Im 100% wfp and its for both.... Domestic customers love wfp cos they want their frames sills and doors cleaned... .. Ive had 1 complaint and she was just a fussy customer though,,,. People fone me saying do u clean the whites am like yeah /emoticons/smile.png wfp is the future of window cleaning /emoticons/smile.png most houses have windows that u cant access without wfp aswell. ive been going for just over 3 months now

I'll say this again H people don't want wfp just to have their whites cleaned, windies have cleaned those since day 1 and I reckon they've managed well enough without wfp. The pole is a very handy tool but I am sick to the back teeth with pathetic comments like that, I'll challenge ya mate to any very dirty first clean you with your future of window cleaing and me with my hands and I bet I know who does the best job frames, sills and doors included.

Down my area trad guys dont do frames /emoticons/tongue.png its a shame they rnt all like u eh dodger /emoticons/tongue.png lol dodger mate some trad guys dont do it and some do

Same as wfp then mate, some are utter rubbish round my way. We are as good as each other but different, if a windie didn't do my frames I wouldn't pay him and I certainly wouldn't ask if he did them, I expect it.

I would also challenge anyone that my windows are as clean as any wfp. Frames as well. It was brought in not coz it's better but coz its supposedly safer. Yes you can reach difficult window & 3rd storey windows but that's why us traders have backpacks & believe me I got a lot of work off wfp guys. There both good. Seems like we're going down the road again of some of you knocking trad. Why.

That's my other point. I love doing it. My arms kill me after holding the pole for more then 10 minutes. Need a bit of arm building I think lol. & that bloody hose lol.

Same here mate any awkward windows and doors that is all i use the wfp for otherwise it's trad for me .

100% wfp out of choice not because i think its better.

at the moment doing insides trad, but this will be changing over to wfp in a few months.

To be honest... some trad people take work from wfp guys and some wfp guys take work of trad...

Its what customers prefer really...

i got 1 customer yesterday he said his cleaner is **** he just used a cloth and a bottle of water and doesnt do the white bits...

Same here H and possibly everywhere, I get asked if I clean frame and sills and the answer has to be yes in my opinion. I don't expect to get paid anymore for it although probably 50% of my customers have given me double on first clean because they looked so good and it just makes makes maintenance cleans that much quicker and easier. I don't have to tell customers that their windows may not be perfect until the 2nd or 3rd clean either, they're clean on the first go. If and when the law says I can't climb a ladder they'll still be right first time because I did it right in the first place.

Couldn't agree more. I never tell a customer it might take 2 or 3 times till the windows are perfect. Sounds very amateurish. I even went to the lengths of correcting a customer who told me that he understood that it would take a few times. Do it right and the jobs a good'en!!

I use wfp for all my customers but I have around 20 windows I do trad, I hate trad but only because I'm **** with the blade. I think if I was good at trad I would do almost all ground floor windows, I think it would be quicker and save water.

a first clean today toke me 1 hour to do... and the job was £8.00 !

As dodg & h surely you stay till house is clean as in my eyes your not doing it properly and relying on next 2 cleans to get them right. Surely when you hire someone to do a job 4 u you don't let them come back 3 times before its right. Weather mines a 1st clean or 20th I leave when it's right. Just my opionion.

I'm just quoting what I read mate, not all but some wfp users tell custies that it could take 2-3 cleans for their windows to be perfectly clean. I don't leave a property until it's clean and that's every time like you mate.

the problem with wfp it could take a couple of hours till all the watef is dry and you find out if it is claen or not, i dont really want to sit in the van and wait for the water to dry. so i just say that if there is any problems give me a call and i'll pop back and sort them out for you.

I agree that's how it should be. I weren't actually talking about you dodg coz I know your the same as me. It's some of the others & as you say wots in that letter. I understand it takes a while to dry but the way some talk about it (& not all on here may I add) is its the bees knees so why the 2-3 cleans.
