nice to see a free software! shame you have to upload all you round details and customer details to outside people tho. if it was downloadable to the pc and no personal data is transferd to them i would use this.

think i'll get 'greoge' when i get to a stage to have it on this sort of work, might cost £50 but then its a lot safer as noone else can access the info.

I used to do pen and paper, but then when someone said they want theres doing every 3 months, we had 1 every 2 weeks, mostly everyone else was 4 weekly, then a fair few 8 weekly, a lot to remember lol.

I promised myself that when I got George I would also do pen and paper,for back but nvr caught on, lol to lazy /emoticons/tongue.png

Depends how you do your books.

This is how I do mine.

Each square represents 2 weeks.

I put a circle If I cleaned the house.

I colour the circle in if it paid

If it gets done every month then I put a '' / " in the next box

If it gets done every 2,3,4 months then Ill put '' / '' in the following box for each month.

I also mark the date they were cleaned at the top of the page.

This is how the last guy I worked for done his books, So I did the same. It works well and the book will last all year round, well it should.

P.s the '' - '' means it was missed.

Its not a book, its a folder and it never leaves my van. I could still read it if I had coke over it lol. I know every house I do along with the prices. I wouldnt be able to remember everyone who was due money but I would remember a good part of it.

What happens if you get hacked or get a computer virus?

Its one of those things isnt it??

Dont really need a diary after like doing a peticular round 2nd or 3rd time, because you start to remember what houses are due, how much they cost, etc etc, but then we need it anyway as we need to know who paid and who hasn't.

You know what I mean lol.

Luckly on George I can back up to folder on pc, or USB, and even have a backup online

Looks good. Might have a crack at it. Still can't beat pen & paper. As mk mine never leaves the van & as held me in good stead for 4 years but may start to put custies on this as back up. Could take a while tho.

to be honest i can remeber every customer i have off the top of me head all i want to use a prog for is to see cash flow etc

and know when i cleaned them last lol as sometimes i forget oh and contact numbers etc .
