Traditional Cleaning Set.

W

Wheatie

I'm looking for a Traditional Window Cleaning Set. Has anyone brought one lately or if anyone has any info on where to get a decent one not a cheap one, one that's decent enough to get you trading!

Many thanks

Paul

I gotta say everyone has been of great help! I wasn't very confident before going self employed about a week ago but now with the help and advice I can't see why I can't do it to be perfectly honest!

Just looking forward to starting it all!

Congrats! One thing, get a belt and some pouches and a bucket on a belt - makes life muuuch easier /emoticons/smile.png

I started off with this kit, its got everything there you need & its all great quality!

Cleaning Spot Professional Kit

£99.99 (£119.99 Inc VAT)

This kit is our recommendation for a professional window cleaning kit that will be all you need for round of traditional window cleaning.

It's incredible that you can get all this top kit for just £99.99+VAT!

Includes:

1 x 24L Blue Pulex Bucket

1 x Lid for 24L Unger Bucket

1 x Moerman Bucket on a Belt (with 2 clasp options)

1 x 2" Nylon Webbing Belt

1 x Winspray Double Pouch

2 x Pre-washed Scrims

3 x Microfibre Cloth 40x40cm

4 x Microfibre Sill Cloths 40x40cm

1 x Bi-Component Moerman Ergonomic Squeegee Handle

1 x Moerman 12" Channel & Rubber

1 x Moerman 14" Channel & Rubber

1 x Moerman 18" Channel & Rubber

1 x 36" Replacement Moerman DuraFlex Rubber

1 x Moerman 10" Bi-component Ergonomic Applicator T-Bar

1 x Moerman 14" Bi-component Ergonomic Applicator T-Bar

1 x Unger Standard Applicator Sleeve 10"

1 x Unger Standard Applicator Sleeve 14"

1 x Champion 5" Scraper

1 x Pack of 10 Stainless steel Blades for 5" Scraper

1 x 2-stage pole (1.1-2m)

1 x 1L Glimmer Clean

Then go over to paragon Microfibre and get 4 or 5 Large Fishscale cloths which are brilliant for detailing, and say 20 40x40 microfibres from the same place. Should be able to pick all the above up for around £150, and should provide you with everything you need to get started to a high professional standard, just add ladders, safety equipment and water!

Good Luck mate

B & Q ladders £70. Very good & reach most heights.

yh you really dont need much, a bucket, applicator, squeegee and some cloths + ladders, and thats it! good luck in your new self employment

Traditional Window cleaining set was more helpful than these we se today. It was so because it had all the necessary toold for window cleaning. Actually by saving time nowadays we are also losing complete cleanliness.

Most of the guys I know like Unger equipment. If you want to keep it simple just buy their stuff and learn how to use it like a pro. Try not to spend a bunch of money trying out all kinds of stuff. One guy likes this and another likes that. If you stick with Unger I'd say you can't go wrong. They make everything you really need. JMO :)

PS

I use mostly Ettore because I started with Ettore and that's what I'm used to. They make great stuff.
