Have any of you tried standing in the high street with flyers? If so what kind of response have you had?

Also how many of you have a website?

And lastly, social media? Ie Facebook?

Thanks

Dave

u need a license to hand our leaflets etc in public mate or you can get done

also i have a website and facebook yeah

Website is a must in my opinion, Get a proper one made though. Ian on here will do you a good deal.

Facebook again has been by far the best advertisement for me, with my website catching up with it.. Search for your local for sael/business grups and post your website/deatils/offers on there. You should get a good response from it.

When people hand or try talk to me up the high street I tell them im busy, if there offering free stuff Ill stop lol.

facebook is the worst for me no customers from it .... my website brings in a few customers per week /emoticons/smile.png so not to bad

Lol it used to be the same before actually.... but when my website went down.... i noticed that i lost a bit of work through it.. but now its back 2 normal /emoticons/smile.png

Am just waiting for that 1 big commercial to land on me ! /emoticons/wink.png thats the main reason i got the website

Lol mk cleaners.

So where do you guys score most of your work??
Facebook / Website / Yell.com / Google+. (in order)I also have a few plastic signs on a roundabout that get a lot of work. I was told this was illegal. Im still wating for the fine to come thro he door.

I did have adds in my local news letters but have now ditched them for a ''legal'' sign on a roundabout. High traffic area so cant go wrong really

So what's The difference between legal and illegal signs on roundabouts?

Is it illegal to stick signs on lamposts, or flyer cars in a car park??

how much did adds cost u in local news letters ? lol
70 quid for 6 months, min 2k issues sell per month. Its a snobby area too lol. Im the only window cleaner to advertise in it to. I got a few jobs from it, not as many as I hoped. To many other people in the area doing jobs a half 3/4 of the price.

i charge about right /emoticons/smile.png

not to much

and not to little /emoticons/smile.png
