Hi i have decided i want to convert to wfp system, i have no idea where to start! I have a renault scenic car and have a budget of around £1000, can anyone point me in the right direction on what setup i should be looking for?

To be fully wfp you need a van as the amount of water and equipment you need to carry.

To be in a car you could only carry a small amount of water so you would be going back and forth to fill up

As above if you have a car 25lt drums and a back pack you can to do the upstairs windows you will get all for a less than £150 and a clx 22 £120 a di vessel and some resin £120 put the rest towards a van and start saving

best way to start really at least if you find out wfp is not for you it has not cost you to much money

That's true its not for everyone it is harder work than traditional but great fun

yes the back seats can be taken out it is a people carrier and has plenty of room

Cos your in a car mate i think you should just get a trolley or backpack /emoticons/smile.png Once u get this.. u will end up wanting a van /emoticons/tongue.png lol

I started with a car and backpack a while ago. It really pee'd me off so when I started back off I part ex'd my car for a van and bought a system straight away as a car is not practical for wfp window cleaning.

Thats true but some people got no choice

I know mate. It used to drive me up the wall though and I wouldn't wish the problems I had on anyone. I had a 3 year old car and my backpack tipped over in the boot and emptied everywhere. After a few weeks I had damp and mold crowing everywhere in my footwells

If you have a large round you would be better off with a full system at least 350ltr tank, 650 if you can, however you will need the right van that can handle all the equipment. Can you not buy 3 seater van? I'm selling my Vauxhall vivaro 1.9 cdti 2005 with 102,000 miles on it, and a bolted 650ltr tank for £2900 (no offers) MOT until next July road tax end of this year. Only selling as i need a larger van for my carpet machines.

I sold my car and bought a Citroen dispatch because I need 3 seats, it's got plenty of room in the back for a 400L tank and loads of gear.

I have a backpack and I take 5 25l drums but I have a Signum which is like a limo works a charm..
