When you have houses that are on opposite sides of the road what do you do? Do you have to drive over to the other side, or do some trail the hose over the road.

If its over the road direct then ill leave the van.. but if its like 3/4 houses down what ill do is..... drive the van a bit more further down... (ill do this without putting the hose back in the van)

I drag hoses across the road no problem (but won't mention about the safety signs that I put out as it goes across pubic footpaths) lol

Both my 6mm & 8mm hoses has had buses tractors lorries cars bikes all over it no problem

It surprises me at time when I'm near my hose over a road on how many stop and won't go over it until I wave them over lol

If the road was very busy I wouldn't do it, I know it's tough stuff but having potentially a hundred plus vehicles some likely hgvs going over the same bit in quick succession can't be that healthy for it, but quiet streets just drag it over.

That what I done, What a night mare it was. First time ive tried to use it on smaller houses will be the last time for sure. TO much hassle dragging and reeling the house in. Ill just stick to using it for bigger propertys

Yeah, we just drag them over the road. Once we have done 5 houses, then we real it in and move the van down/up the street. Just make sure the hose is not all twisted in the street for anyone to fall over it. Better still just out a few warning signs up on the path.
