Moved tank forward, Bigger stronger wood for the border (there no screws in this video. I never had the tool to put them in, there in now though! )

There alos those L shaped brackets on the outside. I put 2 builders straps through the middle.

Im going to get more of them tomorow and put the on the lef/right hand sides too. Just to be safe.

What I used: (so far)

4 posts of wood (ill get dimensions tomorrow)

Box of screws

L shaped brackets

Silicone

2 builders straps

Roof paint (not sure if this was good idea yet! )

Paint brushes / rollers.

So went and checked it 2 mins ago, although it says it drys in 6 hours I dotn think it has it still has a tacky feel to it. Never the less I went and strated jumping and scrapping it to see if it would budge, Its still there. Ill check it later today when Im finished if its still like this ill just put a coat of varnish over it

Can I ask a stupid question?

Why are you using waterproof paint?

The inside is painted with auto paint which is on the outside of the van also, you don't see it rusting every time it rains lol so y the need for another layer internally??

It was only £60 for 4lts. Half a tin done my van. Dried overnight ready to fit kit into in the morning.
The stuff I was looking at cost more. I found a decent reasnoble priced one though so just ordered that.

The paint I used was fine untill It got wet and I started walking on it, some chipped off. I was also picking up some ply wood to case in my tank and the scrapped the back of it.

So if anyone fo you are thingking about trying a different paint.... Dont! Get the proper stuff

Its a wooden floor, Also the water can get underneath that and cause damp not to mention to smell of old dirt water.
