Waterfed Pole Explanation Slip !

[All Round Cleaning]

Has anyone got a standard slip that they give to customers explaining the benefits etc

of waterfed pole ? as im planning on converting the majority of my round to waterfed pole

as im getting fed up of ladders now and my round is growing so each day im out my days work is getting bigger and bigger

so i need to find some sort of print off to advise my customers .

so if anyone has one is there any chance you can pass it on .

why dont you just talk to them about it, looks better and then you can answer any questions they might have or dont understand there and then!

Your windows have been cleaned using the Water Fed Pole system which uses telescopic poles and 100% pure water.

I am now using this method for the following reasons:

1) BETTER CLEANING RESULTS - The advantage of PURE WATER is that it absorbs large amounts of dirt. The process involves brushing your windows clean with PURE WATER, they will be left wet and will dry naturally however once dry your windows WILL be clean and smear free.

2) HEALTH AND SAFETY - Legislation now limits the use of ladders until all other alternatives have been considered. The Water Fed Pole system is a safer and more viable alternative for window cleaning.

3) ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY - Only PURE WATER is used no detergents or chemicals!

4) IMPROVED SERVICE - We can now reach inaccessible windows - third floor windows - over conservatory windows and above extensions with no risk of damage to roof tiles.

Your windows have been cleaned in the past using detergents and it may take 2 or 3 cleans using the Water Fed Pole system before all traces have been removed.

Please be assured that once this residue is removed your windows will be CLEAN and we are sure you will be happy with the results.

have to be carful when you say this, as resin is a chemical and is used to produce the water, just change it to - No Chemicals* will be used while cleaning.

get some leaflets... and when u get a new customers... give them a welcome leaflet... and on this leaflet it can explain to them all the benefits etc ? /emoticons/tongue.png

Writing a letter and then giving it personally to the customer so they can ask questions straight away will help and you'll be able to gauge the response and learn how to handle questions easier in the future.

Wow... If a customers not happy you dont bin them, try and fix what ever issue they have. You will certanley be making a name for your self doing that... not a god one though.

F@@@ me H youd bin them if they didn't make you a cuppa lol. Look after yet custies mate. You can't just keep binning lol. Also I'd be careful with the letter as I don't think it gives better cleaning results but that's my opionion. And with chemicals we only use a bit of washing up liquid not dozens of chemicals. And we only use a few litres of water a day. Saying its a better clean is an opionion not shared by a lot of people so me personally I wouldn't use it but again that's my opionion. Sorry if it offends.

Water fed pole was introduced mainly for health and safety and help reaching windows.

You'll never get a more detailed clean then trad.

But wfp can be as good, as things can still be just as clean.

I agree. I think wfp is great. I just think telling people somet that maybe may not be right could give them false hope. I use a backpack but would never tell my custies it's better. As good maybe but not better.

Well that's my plan anyways as I believe wfp does not get the sills etc as clean as trad not even close .

Agree with that Gav and get ya reasons for changing but just tell them, only explain it to those that make a fuss.
People don't want or need 'educating' as someones stupidly put but sadly mate if the custie says they don't want it you have to make the decision, drop em or keep em on now until you're so busy you can afford to drop em because if it's your long term plan to be ladderless you'll have to do it somewhere down the line.

And explaining it when quoting will sort it for new custies.

i got this letter from mark as well i have not used it yet and i was told that he normally only uses it on old people who do not understand wfp bit and they can sit down in there own time and read it i think it is a good idea

H just because someone doesn't like wfp it doesn't make them bad and they're not wasting your time, you knocked on their door after all. Yes we know your round is improving you tell us in every other post but Gav may not be in a position to drop half his custies right now if they don't agree so he may choose to keep them on trad for the time being and drop them later or they may even come round to the idea at a later date.
