Hi I'm gonna post this in trad and wfp if that's ok? What trad gear do I need for cleaning inside and any advice on how to do it? Never really learnt how to clean trad style!!!

Cheers

Steve

what ever you do, if you're doing trad..... make sure you spend an hr or so getting used to it on your own windows before you go out. It is an art form! First time i ever did it, i thought.... how hard can it be..... and i made a right mess of it.

Get to local cleaning shope, pick up some unger squeege and aplicator and get going. Have you checked out you tube? Best advice I was given when starting was, keep the blade behid the water and chase it down the window....

Speak to Dodger on here.... he's the king of trad cleaning.... Should be able to give you some good pointers....

you tube is a great starting point, because you can see exactly what's being done and how to do it. Dont use to much water and make sure you use a large towel under the window your working on.

Practice as much as you can at home with the tekkers you pick up on you tube.

The longer the squeegee blade the harder it is to control.

You need an applicator, squeegee and bucket.

This is a great link.
I hope this helps, good luck

The guy in this video is Mark Henderson, he comes on this forum from time to time i believe and seems like a really nice guy, certainly a very skilled window cleaner.

You can find many other videos on you tube by Mark, just type in window cleaning m4rkhenderson.

Hey Dodger, totally agree, i've been cleaning trad for 12 years and always open to learning more, and this guy knows he's stuff..

He can certainly handle that blade, I only wish I was that good.

I know mate, I keep having a go but not very good lol. Mentioned it last week that I saw another windie doing it at post office on high street here and he was pretty damn good.
