Spots on anthracite frames

Any ideas for what may have caused these spots or how to remove them?

I’ve been cleaning theses for about 2 years without issue but got a call today after they were cleaned yesterday.
At the bottom of each pane either side of the door there are two drainage vents and the spots are by the right hand side vent of the left pane and the left hand vent of the right pane so either side of the door. Is it possible that when cleaning the panes over the door water has got inside the lower frames and found it’s way out through the vents dragging some chemical with it?

The first photo is the spots on the sill under the vent
and the second of the panes above the door

Any suggestions appreciated

thanks

I’m not sure to be honest. The frames feel more textured than just normal upvc so was concerned what type of chemical to use or even to touch it at all.
The other window sills are all ok so although curious the customer isn’t blaming me (yet). But it did appear after my clean and as the doorway is sheltered it doesn’t get rain.
She is going to give the supplier a call but as it’s been fitted for some time I can’t see her getting any joy

Most will say soapy water , I know a few window fitters and that’s what they tell customers.
Yes had a go with soapy water and it goes away but comes back through when dry.
Just annoying as I’m sure it’s caused by something in the door frame that’s contaminated the water but getting the customer to accept it might be more tricky

Spray white grease or silicone is my best bet. The top hinge plate was out of alignment and some smart **** thought let's spray white grease from a can.

Use some elbow grease and not that boney bit at the end of your forearm

Well after visiting the customer again they’ve said they understand that the spots are not caused by me even though they appeared after I cleaned. I’ve set out my theory that it’s grease from the door hinges or locks that has escaped into the channel at the bottom of the door and then just by the cleaning process it’s flushed it out onto the sill.
They’re going to ask the installer to give them guidance to remove the spots. I will update the thread if I find out what they use so hopefully it will help  someone in a similar situation.
Thanks for the reply’s guys ?

I wonder if some of that silicone car bumper restorer stuff would make it look better ?? I wouldn’t use to much of it as you don’t want to get it on your brush but it might make it an evan colour all over the sill ??

Solvent degresser will remove that

Yes solvent cleaner is good stuff we always carry a bottle of it on the van , it will remove a multitude of things . Just need to  go carefully with it as it can dissolve some things quite easily .Also dries your hands out badly
