Awnings cleaning

Hello guys,

I have to clean these yellow awnings (see pictures).

I was thinking to spray a bio fungicide first to kill the lichen and after 15 days, to clean with a pressure washer Kärcher 620M.

What I want to avoid is to tear the fabrics of the awnings.

Are they canvas or plastic ? I cannot tell from the pictures, I would very carefully try a hypo mix  we do a huge sail on a hotel this way and it comes up like new , make sure you rinse with copious amounts of water

You have to be cautious as they are most likely canvas, top tip dont use a pressure washer unless they want them converting into skylights 

A small test area using a domestic 3% bleach with a pump spray worked for me. 

You need to pre warn the customer that they may deteriorate
