I've got quite a few that will go up by 2 quid minimum in spring that think they getting a facebook discount, I just gave them my normal price but made them think they were getting a special deal. Turns out they were lol but most of them will go for the raise as long as I keep up my standards.

Well your welcome to buy a copy Clean n Simple.
I don’t know how long you have been window cleaning; in a response you gave to the question in this thread – you said you will clean the fronts for £6 – when do you think you/your business will move on from this level of pricing? (If you haven’t already)

Now if you already know the answer, you may not need the book.

Richard
I have not started yet Richard.

As soon as I have your fund ill buy your book.

I would increase prices every time there is a reason I can give the customer one.

For example: fuel prices, taxes, equipment prices... Etc

Does that sound about right lol?

I'd buy your book even if that was right as I'm sure there is still loads of info in there for me, plus I'm like a sponge, I absorb all the info I can /emoticons/smile.png

Is there something wrong with this?

I charge many custies £5 as that is the most I can get out of them (as a starter) but plan on putting these £5 houses up by a pound in the new year.

People are tight, and people think am a bargin, iv heard custies paying more for a **** service, or cause of resession are cutting back on even things like window cleaning and bin cleaning

For me I charge low just to get in the door so to speak to aswell, and I need to prove I can do a good job.

also if by charging fiver a house and I do 4 houses an hour then thats £20!

Some days I get £40 for working two hours then am off home or out canvassing etc, way I see it is look for a job that I cant get, or do this,£40 a day is better then £50 a week on dole!
same here pal mate i average around 7 windows for a fiver.on a house if theres a conny £3 to £4 will be added most houses are £6.

lol if he gives much more away no'one will buy his book.

Some might think that way Dodger, but the book is meant to be read at least 4-5 times cover to cover, and then to keep reading parts of the book you want, until you put all the pieces together and come up with your own plan.

The book is compressed as much as I could make it, considering it also aimed at the new starter, but it is still over 20,000 words; - who can recall that amount of info - It’s also meant to be used to guide or reference you can return too as and when needed. As your business changes, (or should be changing) you need to keep thinking about the next step.

The sum of the whole is much greater than the individual parts.

Just got mine this morning and I'm going to give it a good read through .

Even the introduction got me thinking .
I think you got a lot more right from the start Gav than me but still a lot in there that will open your eyes a little I think.

That’s a good start then, because ultimately you have to do all the thinking for your business.
